There are a number of other public buildings in the Valley. These include the public library, East Surrey Museum, the health centre, adult education centre and the Miller Centre. A new youth facility is also being planned.
The adult education centre is noted, amongst other things, for its computer classes.
The library also houses the North Tandridge history society.
The East Surrey Museum serves the whole of the area and is located on the corner of Stafford Road and Church Hill. The museum is mostly staffed by volunteers.
The Miller Centre is a well known facility with daytime clubs and a community theatre. It was founded in 1977 in the building which was previously St John’s School and the original home of St John’s Church.
